"I'm not sure why the electronics industry hasn't adopted 18650 as the standard battery yet, but I have always recommended people use them and their associated devices as technology evolves to use more power. The difference between this little pocket rocket and a Maglite (even their own LED models) is enormous, and it's because of the power source. AA or even D batteries don't put out as much power as an 18650 can, and an 18650 is rechargable to boot. Only cons I found are, the grip and texture of the flashlight body is smooth, even with the knurling. The lanyard that comes with the flashlight will probably save you from losing this thing in the dark on more than one occasion. The power switch is also a bit of a letdown. There is only one power button, and turning it on or off cycles it through the power levels first before finally powering down. For those who are looking for a tactical flashlight that memorizes settings and needs tail switches to make 180 no-scope headshots, this flashlight will make you look foolish before you take one to the face yourself. But, for under 20 dollars, 18650 power, compact all metal body, and absolutely no rattle in the flashlight, this is a super solid piece of gear. Small hands friendly, will light up a dark path with ease, and no complicated instructions needed."
"This is a great light; However I would not recommend it for LE/Security/Home defense. It does not have a "dead man's switch." That means you must fully engage the button for the light to work which could give your location away. Good LE flashlight have a pressure activated button that allows for instant on/instant off ability. Additionally, you must cycle through all the beam options before turning it off. I got it for home emergencies and camping so it does very well. I like the micro-usb charger and it is bright. I use this light to charge my other 16850 batteries as well, can't beat it. The battery has the "button" so if you order extra batteries do not get the "flat-top" style."
"The perfect tactical flashlight for the Vigilante. It has coolness factor in abundance; true. But it also works really well! It has a semi-spot pattern, so at 10M it simply floods the target with massive amounts of bright, very white light - no exaggeration! The pic with the light on does not do it justice. The ample brightness does not interfere in any way with my dot sight's reticle. Also, IMO the Vigilante is rather light and is more stable for aiming free hand with the added weight of this light. I mounted it with a UTG 1" QD Picatinny low profile scope ring as shown in the pic. The battery life is more than enough. The integral USB port affords charging in situ. The pics also show a spare ring for reference. Ecological packaging too!"
"I have bought several flashlights from the expensive online sites and I can tell you they are built and perform no better than this Molaer 1000 lumen flashlight. I checked a like light as the Molaer on the other sites and they cost from $30.00 to $44.00 on sale. You will be happy with this well built light and I really like the way the switch is mounted on the side and also the charging port on the reverse side."
"I love the first two I bought and I gave one of them to a friend. I like the fact that even if the lights are on this light is so bright it can be seen too. This light helped me out during a power outage, that it felt like there was no problem because it made the room look like the lights were not out. So I brought 9 more for my family. Just so you know this light could blind someone this is how bright it is. If you needed help. I recommend this product to everyone but especially for those who do a lot of night time driving or just for help during outages."
"Absolutely fantastic flashlight, I'd recommend buying it to anyone!! It's very bright and very easy to use, the one and only one thing that I wished it had or would do is zoom in on something, but it doesn't have that feature at all...UPDATE**THE BATTERY LIFE IS FANTASTIC ON THIS FLASH LIGHT I COULDN'T BELIEVE I HAD USED IT LAST NIGHT FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES STRAIGHT ON, AND JUST CHARGED IT UP AND IT TOOK LIKE 5 MINUTES FROM MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE RECHARGEABLE FLASHLIGHTS THIS ONE IS AMAZING "
After trying the MOLAER Tactical LED Torch out for quite some time we are convinced that it is one of the best tactical LED torches. It is lightweight, extremely bright, stays charged and is all around quality product. We rate the power consumption as so low that it is actually on par with, or even higher than, the 1000 lumens produced by a Luxeon IV battery. The flashlight is user adjustable from a low of 10 amps to a sustained spurt of 110 amps. Very bright indeed! These are absolutely the best flashlights I have ever seen. These lights are extremely bright, long lasting and very handy to have. I've only had them for a couple of weeks but they so far are just as good as my streamligh flashlight and are just as bright. Only had and used a couple of weeks. I am nurse and good for neuro checks. It is rechargeable with included wires. Handy to have in car. Seems well made and would make nice stocking stuffer. Bright light.
The size is just perfect, not too small, and not too big. I have one that is twice the size. This little powerhouse is as bright and lasting as my high-dollar lights but for a fraction of the cost. You won't be sorry with this one! Only had and used a couple weeks. I am nurse and good for neuro checks. It is rechargeable with included wires. Handy to have in car. Seems well made and would make nice stocking stuffer. Bright light. Love this! We use it for walking the dog at night, but I’m getting an extra for the car. It’s bright and small, which is perfect for what I need, highly recommend! This is the brightest flashlight I own. I've used for about 4 months and it's still going strong. The charge lasts a long time. This is a great little light. can never have too many flashlights.. small, bright, easily rechargeable. would buy again.
The MOLAER has a built-in rechargable battery with a satisfying capacity of 3200m. Ah. This is a great rechargeable battery alternative to disposable batteries which can often lead to the same problems. Reliability, price, and discharge times are all important factors. Some lights are designed to be plugged into a computer, AC or DC outlet, or USB. Others are designed to be mounted on a user's wrist band or taped to a fingerboard surface. For those who use the light frequently, it is important that it is durable and not lose charge unexpectedly. Rechargeable battery, built-in lithium-ion batteries can be a challenge to find a suitable bulb. Some lights go down a darkroom or two before being considered replaceable. Others are tested before leaving the laboratory. Modes, two modes are typical. Three or more modes are reserved for special operations. Some lights go down to a low light setting for emergency flashing aspects only makes sense for small spaces.
The battery can be charged from any 5V/1A USB source like a computer USB port or a phone charger. The higher upfront cost is more than made up for by the low ongoing running cost, no need for disposable batteries and reduced waste. Renewable battery , flashlights with a built-in battery energized by a hand crank or solar panel are ideal for emergency kits. Caution: Do not use lithium or lithium-ion batteries with any flashlight unless recommended by the manufacturer. You risk damaging a light by mismatching it with lithium batteries. Modes, a single setting is sufficient for general-purpose use. Some models offer 2 or more modes like low, medium, high and boost. You may rarely use more than one mode, but having the option to throw an extra-strong beam on demand can be reassuring. The brighter the mode, the shorter the runtime. Some models may offer special modes like a strobe or SOS feature. User programmable mode abilities extend to low- and boost-volts.
MOLAER offers a 18-month warranty and will give you life time support. I bought this flashlight for emergencies. It has incredible battery life because I never take it out. It is lightweight and fits easily in your pocket. It gives off a lot of light. You can best believe this is a survivor. I really like the fact that I can recharge it. I certainly hope the bulbs are not too expensive. BVery nice bright ????flashlight. The different settings are great. Thank you! This ia a fabulous flashlight and the brightness it creates is great. It is the perfect size for getting into small spaces too. The Company is great to work with. Highly suggest a purchase! Seems to be solid light. The cover for the charging port is poorly designed but it works. Brightness is good. Overall a good light for the money I work security and this perfect for it. Simple and bright.
