"Let me just say this first, this is an awesome flashlight. The regular light is very powerful and bright. This is also the best flashlight I have ever owned it’s that nice! Now if you bought this for finding pet stains you are out of luck. For pet stains you need a very high power and proper black light. This is almost powerful enough but like almost all black light flashlights it falls short. You can find reflective creatures such as scorpions with ease. And certain types of stains on slick surfaces. But the main reason I purchased this was for UV resin. This is an amazing product for just that. It cures it fast and with ease. If you are just looking for a regular flashlight then this is for you. You can adjust the size with a push or pull of the product and it has 4 settings; bright white light (it really is white not yellow like others), a dim light, flashing light, and a nice UV light! I highly recommend this if you need a nice flashlight but if you bought this to look for stains with the UV light feature, get a high powered proper black light bar."
"Unlike most of the reviews Ive read, I did not buy this to check out where my cat peed, or to see if my son has reached puberty yet. I carry this with me because I have several blacklight tattoos, and no one would ever believe me...so now I can show them that, yes, I do have tattoos on my face, and no, you can't come over because I, apparently, own the only blacklight in this, and the three neighboring counties. The flashlight is sturdy and very well made, a bargain at twice the price"
"Well built. Sturdy. Very bright and I like the adjustability of the beam size. I don't know if it works to highlight pet urine, but I don't care about that. It *does* offer a bright UV which can be fun to shine around in the dark and see what glows. It can be a little confusing to put in the batteries: you have to take the little "carrier" *out*, put the batteries into that, then put it all together, but it works great. I have 3 of their flashlights now."
"I love it, I got two pieces for I think just over $10 vor both with free shipping PRIME to Honolulu, and it works perfectly, yet so incredibly cheap! I love the fact the it is both a white LED flashlight as well as a UV Blue Light torch that can help detect bodily fluids and scorpions and dry wood termite plugs so you can then open up the termite hiding places and squirt in some 100% D-Limonene Orange Rind Oil (100 % organic and Food Grade of course) which has helped me eliminate termites from my house even from hard to get at and very tricky to use ceiling wood panels that are directly above a KOI fish pond so I cannot risk using any toxic chemicals and having them drip into the water, and of course I have to be super careful using the 100% D-Limonene also but because it absorbs into the wood in all directions so incredibly fast and completely if you are careful there should not be any orange oil spilling down to the floor, so so far so good the fish are doing fine, and there is not so much termite poop falling down into their water, which I still have to change about once a week, you know, the KOI fish are basically carp and they eat and they poop, but they are so cute and some of the larger ones have learned to eat from my hand, priceless! And one more compliment to the flashlight, it is just the right size to fit inside a front pants pocket without being obvious that it is there, and with the zoom feature the bright white LED lighyt as almost as bright as the so called atomic flashlights which however do not have the UV blue-light feature and the front ring tends to fall off and they are obviously not really water proof but do spread the light out very evenly but they both do, this one and the atomic beam, so they can be useful as fill-lights when shooting videos with your smartphone."
"I have read all the reviews for Blacklight flashlight using 18650 batteries. This one is the beat after trying several. Best thing about this light is it has regular white beam too. The white beam is brighter than my dedicated flashlight which also uses 18650 battery. It’s nice to be able to change the field of view. Once light is on. Half click the button to change between white high, low, strobe and blacklight."
"I have owned many tactical flashlights and rarely buy any brand other than the one that is my favorite. I made an exception in the case of this flashlight and am glad I did. This flashlight was much less expensive than the ones from my favorite brand, so my expectations were commensurately lower, but I was pleasantly surprised that this light is well designed and much better than I expected. The UV function is particularly useful, and is the feature that convinced me to buy it, along with the ability to vary the output from widely dispersed to tightly concentrated. I also like the flexibility to use a high-capacity 18650 rechargeable lithium ion battery or AAA batteries. My only minor complaint is that it does not have a memory feature where the light returns to the previously used mode each time it is turned on. Instead, it always starts in the highest output mode each time it is turned on. While this is not a major problem, I hope Morpilot will consider adding a memory function in their future products."
The Morpilot UV Flashlight is both a normal LED flashlight and a UV flashligth. The white light is brighter than my dedicated flashlight which also uses 18650 battery. The Morpilot flashlight has four modes, one of them is UV light or Black light as it is also called. In this mode, white light is reflected back into the bulb at the front end of the flashlight to create the LED. The output can be further controlled through a switch on the rear. This type of switch is more complicated than the simple toggle switch found in most pocket flashlights. The switch is driven by a switch mounted in the head of the flashlight, which operates through a battery operated mechanism in the form of a crank mechanism that keeps the switch tensioned as the battery is exhausted. This type of switch is more durable and resistant to abrasion than the more common spring loaded type. Materials and Processing: The types of metal and glass used in the making of flashlight components are largely determined by the preferences of the manufacturer.
Morpilot UV Flashlight use so called Black light with a wavelength of 395nm. This is the wavelength that the Moon reflects back into the Black light when it is full of UV light. As far as I know this is the first time that anyone has actually claimed to have found a wavelength anywhere near that. However, that doesn't mean that it isn't possible. There are still plenty of exploits that you can do to find even more infrared wavelengths. For example, you can look for paint peels that contain fluorescent brighteners that contain within them trace elements that contain light-sensitive pigments that will then be imprinted onto shiny surfaces that contain the fluorescent brightener. These pigments will then give off light in the visible wavelengths, but also give off a very strong "pop" that will easily expose your skin to hazardous atmospheres. Also, it is possible to put in a UV black light and have it show up when you shine it into dark corners, or vice versa. Again, this is just a theory, but I have several that I would love to share.
The 395nm wavelength light will allow you to see things invisible to the naked eye. Combine this with the black light from the UV light and you have yourself a wide range of tactical options. We also carry a special black light designed for use with vapor scanners or DSCs. These organs process and store colour very efficiently, so using a lot of energy is not a good idea. However, because they process and store so much colour, they are very good at recognising irregularly shaped light fixtures. They do not usually work as well as the more expensive lights, but they are still useful. Flashlight Performance, introduced in 2009, is a standardised, 2-way switch that affects all types of flashlights. The performance of a light depends on its type and the settings that are made available.
The Morpilot is well designed, waterproof, shock resistant, and lightweight. Not just another disposable light, but a long term investment. The UV function is particularly useful, and is the feature that convinced me to buy it. I also like the fact that it has a zoom, which is a nice touch. I ended up just breaking out this one in my hotel room when I went to the bathroom, you know, the kind that makes me squeal and the kind that makes me want to vomit. I was very surprised by the power and versatility of the product. it is very good, and very affordable. It works very well. Great amount of light. I like this unit because I can adjust the beam width to make it more focused. A must have for the home or small business owner. Very nice product. Very bright and easy to use. I would recommend it. No problems so far. 2013 Review: Good flashlight, very bright.
Compact aluminum design with a IPX4 certification to withstand normal use and high loads, allowing you to use standard batteries or AAA batteries as well as high performance metal cables (thousands of hours before damaging the battery pack or wire). Protect your investment with the Blacklight UV battery. It's the best battery available, backed by a 3 year warranty. Blacklight protects from the elements. Operates on standard batteries. Does not use AAA batteries. I would highly recommend this one for the function/aesthetics/quality at a still very low price combination. It is well worth the money. It works great, the beam is clear and bright and does a good job of dispersing the light over a wide area.
