⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First impression, very impressed!
Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2017 by Benjamin Hipps

"Bought this light for a wreck dive off Key West, FL. On the boat I compared it to many of the other lights people were using and found a couple key things I really preferred on this one. First the switch. It's on the back and protected by being recessed. It's got a good long push which is great for gloved hands. Many others you had to twist (two hands) or they had switches on the side that were easily moved by mistake. Even our dive guides light died because he kept accidentialy turning it on. This switch is well thought out. Next is the three light levels. I liked that I could turn the light on low just before I hit the water, then adjust it up to high as I entered the wreck. This saves battery life. Lastly, once in the wreck, I think this was the brightest light of our whole team. Super bright white lite. Ideal beam width. Battery life was never an issue on any of our dives from 35 to 55 minutes. I would suggest getting a second battery though just in case; but I'd do that with any light. So time will tell if the durability is there and I will update you later on that topic. For now though, this is the best light for the money period."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super Bright during night dive in PR! Awesome light!! Seriously buy this one.
Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2019 by SamK

"So i couldn't understand why on earth a flash light would need a low setting but once i turned this dive light on, it was clear to me. this thing is bright even on the lowest setting. i bought this light specifically for my vacation to Puerto Rico. my brother and i planned to go Lobster hunting at night just off the beach where he lives in PR. We free dove in pitch black. There wasn't any ambient light around and we were swimming just outside the breakers where the reef dropped off. THANK GOD i bought this light. it was so bright on our dive, i was able to see every fish and rock and lobster from the surface to about 10-15 foot depth(thats how deep the water was where we were diving im not saying thats the limit of how far this thing shines through water). i was able to spot the lobster easily which is tough in any light because a lot of the time they are the same color as the rocks and reef they are hiding in. the hand strap was nice and strong when i had to let go of the light to bag the lobster or adjust my mask or adjust my go pro. The button on the back of the light is offset and responsive. it would be difficult to click it accidentally because it is shielded by the housing and there is a bit of a travel the button requires to fully click it. the battery and charger comes with it and it all works just fine. everything you need to use the light immediately is included and for me, it has all worked very well. buy this light."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *** UPDATE**** Outstanding customer service!!!!!
Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2018 by Cindi A.

"This is an update. After I initially wrote my one star review, the company reached out to me on their own and sent me a new flashlight free of charge. This is OUTSTANDING customer service. The very fact that they took the initiative and contacted me says a lot. That alone was worth the cost of the flashlight. The new one works great!! Worked great first time. Followed instructions, put silicone on the seals, dried it, stored it in cool dry place, charged battery.......AND.......second time I tried to use it............nothing!!! Doesn’t turn on. Don’t waste your money."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Single handed reliable operation
Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2017 by M Overton

"I have 3 other similar dive lights, but this is my favorite. The primary reason is the switch. It is much easier to operate the rear mounted push switch than any other type (especially single handed) maybe with the exception of a sliding switch, but those seem to be particularly prone to failure. Forget about the twist style which absolutely require 2 hands. I also do not need 7 different modes of light, strobes, sos, etc. The 3-levels provided by this light are fine, though I would be happy with just 2. Add a couple more LEDs and bump it to 2000-3000 lumen and then 3-dimming levels would be needed. I took it on 8 dives in Grand Cayman and it works flawlessly. Max depth was 110'. I only replaced the battery once simply out of caution. Used it in swim throughs, under ledges and in wrecks and it provided plenty of illumination. It seems ruggedly built and I saw no signs of any leaks. This is a well built economical dive light and I will not hesitate to buy another when I need an additional backup or recommend to others."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent dive light!
Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2019 by Steven Andrew Oser

"My wife and I purchased two of the Volador flashlights to take on a trip to the Cayman Islands. After 16 dives with multiple dives to 110+ feet, this flashlight did not disappoint! No issues at all with water intrusion and battery life was superb as I could get maybe 4 hours of CONTINUOUS use before needing a recharge. Compared to other similar lights used in our group, ours were the brightest by far.... outshining everyone else as we descended to the rec dive limits. The back set on/off button was flawless, never turning off or on without a button press.... I will never go back to a button or switch on the shank of the light. We have charged our lights from dead to full capacity about 5 times now and have yet to find a single issue.... anywhere. We will probably be buying more for other purposes. Picture added for scale (Does not come with lanyard attachment)."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Primary light for day or night use- 11 underwater hours of testing
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2017 by Scott H.

"Spent a week of day and night diving in Cozumel Mexico using this light. Nice bright white light which beats all the other divers older style lights. Bright mode is great for illuminating under the coral and rocks during the daytime and the mid and dim modes worked great for night diving. I did have some issues with corrosion developing in the salt air (in the hotel) on the internal battery compartment contacts when charging the battery over night, which required cleaning all the contacts with alcohol and a q-tip every morning to keep the light working but otherwise it was a great primary dive light and I couldn't be more pleased!"

Best Diving Flashlight

The Volador is in our opinion the best diving flashlight a regular consumer can buy. It is very bright, and works well. The charging is simple and the modes of operation pretty much self explanatory. So it's not like I need a ton of manual dexterity to operate it. Operation is very simple with just a button press and a couple of LEDs. With this one you can count on one hand how many times I've been able to operate it without batteries. It's been flawless so far and I'm only getting better. Recommended. I've done ~20 dives with this flashlight so far, and it's been great. Brightest setting works well for night dives, and the middle setting works well for daytime as well. It's easy to recharge, and it's tiny. Haven’t had a leak issue, and the battery seems to last a long time. I'm only diving for emergencies (scuba diving, for example) so I'm not looking for a big flashlight but I'd like to have one. Recommend.

The VOLADOR Diving Flashlight is equiped with the high tech XM-L2 LED bulbs to ensure it is as bright and durable as possible. XM-L2 bulbs are highly regarded in the diving community because of their greater voltage output. However, unlike conventional bulbs, which can be recharged or replaced, batteries cannot. To ensure maximum brightness, the bulb must be placed in a bowl or other dry location. Because of this, the bulb must be removed before fully charging. Store or dive gloves are recommended. Also pre-installed are 3 rubber O-rings. These must be removed by the charged battery before using. The O-rings can be removed later by the consumer by unscrewing the head of the flashlight. To access the battery compartment, the light would need to be rotated 90 degrees. This would require the battery to be removed and charged again.

Professional Diving LED Flashlight

The diving LED flashlight from VOLADOR is popular among professionals. It features a powerful light source and multiple brightness settings so you can see every fish and rock and lobster from the surface to about 10-15 foot depth(thats how deep the water was where we were diving im not saying thats the limit of how far this thing shines through water). i was able to spot a lobster easily which is tough in any light because a lot of the time they are the same color as the rock or reef they are hiding in. the hand strap was nice and strong when i had to let go of the light to bag the lobster or adjust my mask or adjust my go pro. The button on the back of the light is offset and responsive. it would be difficult to click it accidentally because it is shielded by the housing and there is a bit of a travel the button requires to fully click it. the battery and charger comes with it and it all works just fine. bought 2. Will update if it doesn't work well.

Many professional salvagers and underwater photographers use the VOLADOR. It's a bit of a hassle to remove the battery to charge it but I've only been doing it every few days or so, so it's not a big deal. The light is very bright on its highest setting, even during my low mode. I've never had a leak issue and have been to 100% with just 2 LI-rated batteries. Recommended. This flashlight is easy one-hand operation! Many diving flashlights require both hands. Used this light for backup in Truk Lagoon wrecks. I started calling it the "Light Saber". Very compact, bright, easy to operate. Dove it inside wrecks to 130'.

150m Waterproof Diving Flashlight

For most diviers the 150m waterproof is a bit overkill, but it is always nice to have good margins. I used this light primarily for shorter day dives where I wanted something more solid and solid than a plastic dive light. For these shorter dives I recommend double checking the battery level against the strobe mode. I found out after reading another light's user manual that the battery (18650) needs to be low to "burn" but not low, and then quickly changing batteries to get it back up to speed. I gave this light a five star review, it is now my main light on long day dives and I am very happy. I would buy another if I were to go back to buying it again. I realized I forgot to take a photo of the flashlight. So I snapped a few photos before I left the store and forgot to take them.

The VOLADOR is constructed with a special sealing which gives it the IP68 waterproof certification. The light is powered by an 18650 rechargeable battery (included). To recharge, you need to take the battery out and put it into a separate micro USB powered charging dock. The front unscrews to get to the battery compartment and there are 3 rubber O-rings to make it water resistant. The instructions say to grease them with silicone grease (not included) each time you open it, and box does include a set of replacement rings. (Petroleum based grease will cause the rubber to relax and stretch out.) I got the flashlight in winter and have not had a chance to use it in the ocean yet, but my bathtub tests have proven it to be waterproof at 1 ATM. I'll update if my opinion changes.
